Hi Everyone! i just joined the CreativesDC site. I am so happy to be here and get further connected with creative DC peeps!
I am writing from Mexico City where Transformer is presenting our first international exhibition of DC based artists - Holly Bass, Breck Brunson, Nilay Lawson, Solomon Sanchez, and Tang. Mexico City is amazing. The contemporary visual arts community here is incredible - very smart and philosophical. Lots of parties of course, but there is a definite, sophisticated attitude regarding the presentation of artwork, and an intense thoughtfulness around artistic concepts and the visual articulation of ideas. It is inspiring.
Looking forward to sharing more about Transformer's experience here!

Hey victoria! I went to Mexico City last year and found the city's investment in public art astounding. What a vibrant city. That's so great that you are doing a show there! Hope all is well -- Willona
