HD Cooke Book Fair (Washington, DC)
Dear Family and Friends,
I am writing to you to inform you that there are many book fairs coming up in DCPS' schools. If you are interested in giving a book talk or helping out at HD Cooke's Book Fair which is takes place from February 27th - March 5th from 9:30am - 4:30pm.
There are many ways you can help such as
can decorate and set up, help kids select books, work on refreshments, give a book talk, or help pack up. Sponsors who can give monetary donations to help fund both the kick off and ending celebrations. (Donations are needed to purchase Luau decorations, balloons, supplies for our refreshment stand: fruit kabobs, fruit smoothie margaritas, sweet treats, decorative lawn/reading chairs, our Luau clown, and funds to help transport Cardozo High School Marching Band back..etc.) For more information contact HD Cooke at (202) 939-5390

We invite you to visit our Scholastic Book Fair and experience a celebration of reading. The fair provides families the opportunity to get involved in a universal mission: encouraging our children to read every day.
Our Scholastic Book Fair theme- Book Fair Luau! It's a Reading Celebration! is an exciting reading experience that brings to school a wonderful selection of fun, engaging and affordable books for all to read. Many special events are planned so please make time to visit our Luau Book Fair.
