Shauna Lee Lange Arts Advisory has created a new program called "Art in the Valley" as part of the business development efforts of the Eisenhower Valley district of Alexandria, Virginia. This site is by no means a political platform, so understanding that, one had to be there in the streets of DC after the final voting results to understand that this was more than just another election. The District is studying the feasibility of an inter-jurisdictional arts district straddling Eastern Avenue (with Mount Rainier) and is looking for your input. They are also looking to create an integrated role for artists in this revitalization effort and need to hear from you this Thursday.
