What is your interest in the CreativesDC beta community?

I would like to promote interest in fine art photography and exhibits in the DC metro area.

How are you using your imagination and original ideas to enrich our economy and culture in DC, and beyond? Or, how would you like it to?

I am participating in various local art galleries and a local womens photography group to exhibit work and learn new photographic techniques

Lillis Werder of Lillis Photography has been a professional photographer for over 10 years. She is an award winning photographer who displays her fine art photography in various art galleries in Northern Virginia, juried art shows, the Torpedo Factory through the Art League of Alexandria, the Lorton Arts Center in Lorton, Virgnia, private collections, historic homes, specialty shops, and private offices. Lillis focuses on European architecture, landscapes, open air markets, animals, florals, and historic sites in the United States, England, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Canada, Belgium, and the Czech Republic. She provides custom photography for pets, restaurants, business portfolios, corporate events, and photo journalistic photography for political events. Lillis works for the American Friends of the Czech Republic, a non-profit organization that promotes US and Czech relations, and works with US and international foreign leaders. She photographs embassy events, private parties, and fund raiser galas on assignment for the AFoCR. She is a member of the Prince William Chamber of Commerce in Prince William County, Virginia.
