As an performing arts non-profit organization for 20 years, African Continuum Theatre Co. should be involved and informed about policies, etc., that affect this organization.
How are you using your imagination and original ideas to enrich our economy and culture in DC, and beyond? Or, how would you like it to?
Performing and presenting theatrical events throughout the entire metropolitan Washington DC area.

Involved in the performing arts for over 20 years as an executive director, arts manager, production manager, stage manager, and an actress in Pennsylvania, Texas, and the Washington, D.C. area. Her work has taken her to the J.F. Kennedy Center, the Lincoln Theatre, the Source Theater, Dance Place, Dance Theater Workshop in NYC, and other venues around the country and overseas. She is co-founder of Uniquely D.C., a nonprofit arts organization created to celebrate the District of Columbia and its residents, which has compiled a booklet titled “D.C. Jazz.” In various capacities she’s been involved with African Continuum since the early 1990s as an employee and consultant; her tenure as Executive Director with the organization began in September 2008. Prior to this appointment, she was the interim executive director of another local non-profit organization, the Dance Institute of Washington and a full-time professor at the University of the District of Columbia.
