Hippie Fairy

This is the Hippie Fairy, among the first male Ken dolls that I converted into fairies. He came with an outfit that I felt was unsuitable for what I had in mind so I created an outfit for him out of felt and sparkly stickers using suggestions from Tina Casey's book Fabulous Fashion Doll Clothing You Can Make. I created the shoulder accents, fairy wings, and peace pendant out of polymer clay. I added fairy ears made out of air-drying clay, which was then painted with acrylic paint and sealed with a matte varnish.
