Green and Black Fairy

This is the Green and Black Fairy. She was originally a nude Barbie doll when I bought her from the thrift store. I created a dress out of felt (with black ribbon sequins) using a combination of McCall's Pattern 3897, Dress A (a Barbie-sized fairy outfit) with suggestions from Tina Casey's book Fabulous Fashion Doll Clothing You Can Make. I created her shoulder accent and fairy wings out of polymer clay.
