Destination Idea: Shared Theater Storage Space
How about establishing a Shared Storage Space for theater sets? This was brought up at the June 14th MeetUp for the Performing Arts Cluster. Rather than destroying sets when a production is completed we could store sets for reuse by the theater community. Would it be viable to acquire a community storage space for theater sets, where companies could store their sets after a production, and others who wanted to use that set could borrow it from storage? We have raised this with the Office of Planning in hope of locating a temporary space this summer.
