A theme of Art + Design + Tech + Biz? We think the convergence of these mediums is a key factor in driving the creative economy. An example would be the Spy Museum. Did you catch Veronica Jackson's June 9 CreativesDC presentation on Exhibit Design? She needs to create a group on this site for Exhibit Design...

A group on Exhibit Design would be great! Also, maybe a event where music + film is intregrated.....time lapse video submissions from local artists could work....

How about a showdown of form v. function (or style v. substance)? Half the presenters could present about how form/style makes their particular style makes them unique and half the presenters could present about function/substance is what makes them unique. After the presentations, we could have a debate from the two sides? Or maybe a freestyle showdown, where different groups take something and spin their take on it from a standpoint of style or substance (or a mixture of the two)?
