Dear friends,
For some reason, this invitation has got me truly inspired and I dream of a space where artisans, craftsmen and craftswomen, and community can connect around eco-design. Zen space, workshops, artists-in-residence will show how you can save money, while buying green, local design and making your own curtains, furniture, and so forth. I call it TBL Design, Triple Bottom Line Design = economically, environmentally, and community sustainable.

Please login and vote for TBL Design at Define Live-Work: http://www.definelive-work.com/entries#5099

The winner gets $500 and a chance to see their vision staged by a designer. That's great. If I win, I will take this opportunity to bring in more visionaries, artists, community members and launch this enterprise. We can generate income through sales, barters, commissions, workshops, and apprenticeship programs. Today, there are a ton of empty spaces in our neighborhoods that need community and creative approaches to economy.

For example, the absolutely fabulous Amy Melrose has an entry which is synchronistic to TBL Design, titled "Let's Create An Urban Green Space." Vote for her, vote for me, vote for us to bring more green to our neighborhood.

THANKS! Love, Sarah
